adidas by Stella McCartney Celebrates 10 Years

The collaboration between adidas and Stella McCartney is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and this blend of high performance sportswear with the feminine style of Stella McCartney is a concept that I love. Ten years ago, pairing style with workout clothing was still a very forward-thinking concept. Now, an entire fashion category of athleisure has emerged, but I am still an incredibly loyal fan of adidas by Stella McCartney, with its use of colors, edgy silhouettes and design details that set this brand apart.

This year, there is more focus on incorporating more sustainable textiles into the collection, a trend that I think is important. Also, we see the continued use of floral edge that we’re accustomed to from Stella McCartney. There are pieces that are designed to be worn across a range of sports, from yoga to running,  and as I mentioned in a post yesterday, high performance fabrics are important for high quality work-out clothes.

Here are some of my favorite pieces from the adidas by Stella McCartney collection. The colors, silhouettes, unique necklines and performance fabrics are all fantastic. Just looking at them is enough to make me run to the gym now! Shopping for my clients doesn’t include just special occasions or wardrobe essentials. I often spend time helping them select great workout wardrobes, and for some, adidas by Stella McCartney is at the absolute top of my list.
