Channel Your Inner Bohemian

KR Gypset 2015

I love the easy to wear bohemian styles that are out this Spring. The fabrics are light, and there are so many options in a neutral palette that make mixing and matching them a cinch. Based on the Fall 2015 collections in New York, London and Milan, this nod to 70’s fashion will be strong throughout this entire year, which is good news.

I love the bell and kimono sleeves, fringe of all kinds, embroidery detail and flattering A-Line cuts that are found in bohemian styles. Some of my favorite retailers such as Anthropologie and Calypso St. Barth are always carrying pieces that offer a bit of the hippie spirit, but with the style being so on-trend this Spring you can find them just about anywhere.

The Nili Lotan Voile peasant top from Barney’s New York looks beautiful paired with white jeans – and the white-on-white styles are still very ‘in’ this season. You can pair them with one of the 50 shades of brown gladiator sandals that are in this season, or with a fringed suede heel like this one from Steve Madden.

Long summer days call for cool maxi dresses and I love this one from Calypso St. Barth (it’s 30% off this weekend!). The tassel and bead trim ties are a nice detail and the dress comes in a navy blue as well.

Accessories this Spring are really fun, and I’m loving these over-sized round ‘Nerine’ 58 mm sunglasses from Chloe. Pastel and light colored bucket bags are in and I believe that I might be currently stalking this white fringed Saint Laurent. And my clients know that I’m a fan of a well-made crisp white t-shirt, and this Rebecca Minkoff necklace would look so pretty paired with one and a light-colored denim.

I urge you to find your inner bohemian and dive into this Spring’s fun boho chic trend. My Miami clients will love that these pieces will keep you cool through early Fall and still be spot-on in terms of trend.

Please feel free to contact me to schedule a appointment for me to take a peek at your closet or take you shopping! I’m now offering group shopping outings so that you can bring a friend. It’s so much fun.
