If The Shoe Fits! How To Pair Denim With Pre Fall Shoes

While denim is definitely a must have item for your pre fall wardrobe, figuring out which shoes to pair with what style can be a bit difficult. There are a variety of ways to pair pre fall shoes with all types of denim styles. Here are a few of my favorite style tips!

Try pairing a ripped or solid colored skinny jean with thigh high boots. I love thigh highs because they keep you warm in any climate but also add a sleek and sexy look to your outfit. You can also pair them with a pointed toe shoe that instantly adds a more sophisticated look to your outfit.

Flared denim can be a tough one. While we love their unique 70’s style, we often forget how to pair them with the rest of our outfit. Try wearing them with a platform shoe; this look will elongate your legs and give a polished finished to your overall style.

The boyfriend jean is another tough one because although they are perfect for on-the-go comfortable wear, if styled incorrectly you can end up looking sloppy. Pair your boyfriend jeans with a nice sandal for those Miami girls who don’t have to worry about the cold. A dainty sandal gives a feminine touch to a more laid back style.

Another great look for a casual night out is pairing ripped denim with a tall pump or bootie. This is the perfect look for dinner out on the town or grabbing drinks with friends. The ripped denim gives your outfit a laid back feel while the heel gives it a more sophisticated look. This look is great for changing quickly from day to nighttime wear with just the change of a shoe.

Last but not least another favorite look is denim skirt that is easily paired with a variety of shoes. You can pair a shorter daytime denim skirt with statement sneakers or sandal for a cool and casual on-the-go look. Or try pairing a longer denim skirt with a small heel or wedge for a sleeker daytime style. This look will keep you looking casual but fashion forward all at the same time.
