Last week I sent out part 1 of my Spring Trends report; I highlighted 4 trends you should expect to see this spring. I also included styling tips and my favorite pieces to add to your closet. If you missed the email, but still want my best tips for spring dressing, go check it out here.
Bags are fun this spring! You will see miniature size bags, also known as micro bags that hold a lipstick and a credit card maybe. Popular among celebrities, we are starting to see these mini bags in stores. Opposite of the miniature bags, you will also see extra-large totes that will fit a small child if needed. Generally too large for my everyday needs, but it can be fun to play with proportions and larger-than-usual statement bags. The final handbag trend is fun, special details such as ruching, beads, and tassels. Whatever size you are considering there is a style and size for everyone this season.
I specifically selected bags in neutral tones or ones with natural elements that are versatile for spring!
Shoes
For shoes, we are looking at a couple of different trends here, including straps and more straps, and lots of platform shoes. Thank you 70’s for bringing us a high heel we can walk in! Lots of slides and loafers too, so pick your poison and have fun with some styles in extra bright and metallic tones. Square toe shoes are also on trend this season, as seen in a few of the shoes I selected.
Finally, make sure to add a strappy low heel in a neutral tone for everyday wear this spring. I promise you will wear it with everything!
