The Spring 2015 runways were brimming with round accessories, from handbags to glasses. I love when a shape comes to life in fashion, and this one is super upbeat and easy to wear.
Have fun with your sunglass frames and introduce a retro look with a round frame. They’re playful and laid-back, and come materials from tortoise shell to metal. One of my favorite brands is illesteva. Their Leonard frames come in a great mottled tortoise shell with bright colored lenses, which are great for Spring.
Oliver Peoples offers their iconic round frame called the O’Malley, named after the the former owner of the LA Dodgers, and comes in several different colors.
If you’d like an update to your Ray Ban Aviators, try their new round style that’s sleek and modern.
I love the combination of two trends this season for handbags – the mini and the round. The result is a modern take on the cross-body bag by using the round shape, and they can be used in lieu of a daytime clutch or in the evening.
As usual, Chloé came out with a version of the round bag that is quickly becoming one of the must-have bags of the season.
Try a rich brown leather in this Jerome Dreyfuss bag, which would complete a jeans and white shirt look really nicely.
Finally, the Jessica Canteen bag from Tory Burch has bold contrasting colors, a raised logo and would go well with some of the seasons bright colors.
I have been doing lots of personal shopping for this Spring’s new styles for my clients, including lots of accessories. Spring is such an idea time time to incorporate new pieces into your wardrobe. I’ve scouted all of the stores and would love to help. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or to schedule a wardrobe consultation or personal shopping appointment.
