Studio to Street Style

We have talked about the athleisure trend in a few of our blogs before this year because it is and continues to be a very hot trend. It is a lifestyle way of dressing that isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. A few of the trendy pieces of the moment (crop tops, mesh, colorful patterned leggings) may come and go, but society seems to crave a more casual, stylish and functional way of dressing that is here to stay. It’s a part of our culture and everyday routines to go to the gym, spin class or pilates studio, and then continue on to run errands or to meet friends for coffee or lunch.  Today we are featuring some of  our favorite picks from Athleta in Merrick Park that best represents Studio to Street style, featuring Christa Gurka, owner and founder of Pilates In The Grove.

Great pilates and yoga style workout uniform; Black Scrunch Shorts w/ Energy Crush Sports Bra.

Putting the Palms Aspire Ankle Pant w/ the white Cutaway Sweatshirt over our workout uniform and pairing it with a casual espadrille. You are now ready for the rest of your day.

Woodlands Chaturanga Reversible Pant. 2 for the price of 1, paired with the Fastest Track Tee. This is a universal workout uniform no matter what your favorite fitness regime is.

Our street style is complete with the City Time Sweatshirt. Casual, comfortable with mesh detail at the shoulder for a little more fashionable edge while you are running your errands.

Pairing the Tux Chaturanga tight with the Soft Side Zip Muscle Sweatshirt Vest is perfect for both studio to street all in one look.

Here we just added the Shimmer Inspire vest which is both water resistant and Upf protected no matter what climate you are in, so you are covered and also very chic while doing it.
