It may not be what you are thinking, unless you guessed the classic white tee. It is, and in my book will always be, an essential that every woman needs in her closet. I tell my clients all the time if you don’t have one, we will go out and buy 3. If you own them then you need to probably replace them every year. Below I will show a few different styles, a few styling tricks , and how you too can wear them as your staple. You can dress it up or down. It’s easy, chic, classic and doesn’t have to break the bank.
J.Crew’s classic tissue tee is one of my favorite’s. Great on it’s own or layered under a blazer or sweater.
Kain’s pocket tee. A little slouchy scoop neck, dressier fabric. Can be layered or worn tucked into your favorite jogger pant or just do a half tuck into your jeans, add a necklace and you are done.
Madewell’s white linen v-neck tank. Again perfect for layering underneath or pairing with a great flared jean, midi full skirt or your shorts.
Rag and Bone’s basic v-neck tee is perfect for anything. Consider it like your boyfriend jean only more flattering. The v-neck tee is by far the most flattering silhouette on anyone! It could possibly become your best friend.
The cutoff tee or rolled up sleeve, a nod to the late James Dean. Still relevant and even more so this season. Pair it with anything, even a dressy mini skirt for a cooler, downtown vibe.
