This week we’re focusing on all the fall trends we’ve been keeping our eyes on all season. There are some classic items that are coming back in style and some looks from summer and pre fall that are making their way into the new season.
Velvet:
One of my all time favorite trends. We will see it everywhere this season: handbags, pants, dresses, even shoes! Velvet never goes out of style so if you are looking to splurge you can do it here as long as the lines are classic.
Metallics:
The edgy look is definitely staying around this season with metallics coming in full force. You want to make sure to keep it classy while still on the edge. Pair girlier items with the harsher items for a great balance.
Romantic:
This look never goes out of style as sweet and classy is always a good idea. Bows, embellishments, and bell sleeves are always a classic look that you can dress up or down depending on the occasion.
Military:
This is a trend that should definitely remain an accent. You can wear either a pant or a jacket to make a statement. Either one ups the trend quotient of the season but definitely not something you want to wear head-to-toe.
Bohemian:
The look is still in style from the summer but in a more sophisticated fashion. We already discussed velvet’s influence this fall but fur, embroidery, and sheer accents will definitely be in mode as well.
