Spring Trends II

by Mar 8, 2018blog

Last week we talked about some of the trends we’ve seen making their way into spring 2018 fashion. This week, there’s even more to discuss. Again, many of these trends we’ve seen before so you probably already have items in your closet you can mix and match with to be on point with this season’s fashion.

Ruffles:

This trend is big this season especially in skirts and tops. There are many ways you can wear ruffles. It’s a great way to dress up a lunch outfit or dress down for a casual night out. Pair a ruffled blouse with a skirt or jeans for the daytime then with silk or leather pants for a night out. You can also wear a long ruffled skirt for an elegant event or pair it with a tee for the daytime.

Pastels:

This color scheme is very in this season and we see it paired a lot with ruffles. Pastel colored dresses are a great look for both day and night time activities. It’s a very resort/vacation look that you can incorporate into your daily street style. Find a look you love and dress it up with heels or down with sandals or sneakers.

You can even incorporate pastels into a sophisticated nighttime look. Veer away from  the classic black and red looks for a fancy night out and take a chance on pastels for a very classy couture style for your next big event.

Fringe:

The 70’s are back with this classic trend. Fringe can be found everywhere this season in party dresses, jackets, and even in denim. This is a great look to incorporate into your style for any occasion and always gives your outfit that extra bit of flare.

Bold Colors:

Just as pastels are in mode, so are bold colors. Incorporate the trends we’ve already discussed like fringe and ruffles with some bold colors to make a statement at your next event.
